What is an Electronic Location?
Electronic detection is the first step to accurately locating underground assets. We use EMF (electromagnetic field) technology to locate pipes and cables beneath the surface.
We provide electronic locations on all underground assets with metallic properties such as communication cables, electricity, gas and water pipes.
Our Radiodetection RD7100 and RD8000 electronic locators are among the most advanced in the industry. We ensure all of our equipment is regularly calibrated. We are able to use fibreglass traceable rods when required to detect conduits and pipes that are non-metallic. This also comes in handy when locating optical fibre ducts.

We use advanced, high-accuracy GPS equipment to ensure precise location tracking of underground assets. Working in with Crowther & Sadler Licensed Surveyors we can provide you with a digital file which can be uploaded for your current or upcoming projects. Maps can be provided in a variety of formats, from sketches, to CAD to GIS data layers, depending on your requirements
